Paid holiday on June 29 in view of Kalanwali Municipality elections

In view of the general election to be held on June 29 (Sunday) to fill the vacant posts of Chairman and Councillors of all wards of Kalanwali Municipality of Sirsa, there will be a paid holiday in all the offices, boards, corporations and educational institutions of the Haryana Government located in the constituency.

This holiday is in accordance with the provisions provided under Section 135-B of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 and Section 173-A of the Haryana Panchayati Raj Act, 1994. This leave will be admissible to all those government employees who are registered voters in the concerned area so that they can exercise their franchise.

In addition, employees and workers working in factories, shops and private institutions located in Haryana, who are registered voters in the above constituency, will also be provided paid leave under the above provisions.
