Haryana cabinet minister Shyam Singh Rana said that PM Narendra Modi will give important gifts to the people of Haryana on April 14, the occasion of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s birth anniversary. On this day, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for an 800 MW thermal power unit in Yamunanagar and will inaugurate a new airport and lay the foundation stone for a terminal in Hisar. This will be a proud moment for the state. The thermal unit in Yamunanagar will be constructed by Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL). He said these projects will become milestones in Haryana’s development.
Rana said that lakhs of people will gather to attend the programme. People from 12 districts in Yamunanagar and from 15 districts in Hisar. He said the PM’s visit will be a historic moment for Haryana’s growth. Thousands of people from the Radaur assembly area will also attend to hear the Prime Minister speak.
Rana also said that mustard and wheat crops are being purchased at MSP in Haryana. The payment for the crops is being directly transferred to farmers’ bank accounts.
