The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has officially announced the result dates for Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations. According to the board, the Class 10 results will be declared on May 11, while the Class 12 results will be released on May 13, ending the wait for nearly 5.49 lakh students across the state.
The education department said all preparations for the result declaration have been completed. Students will be able to check their scores on the official PSEB website by logging in with their roll number and name.
PSEB Chairman Dr. Amarpal Singh has also issued a helpline number — 9549-161-161 — for students. He advised those who may score low marks or fail in the exams not to lose hope or feel discouraged.
This year, around 2.84 lakh students appeared for the Class 10 examinations, while nearly 2.65 lakh students took the Class 12 exams. The Class 10 board exams were conducted from March 1 to April 1, whereas the Class 12 exams were held between February 17 and April 4.
In a video message, Dr. Amarpal Singh encouraged students to stay positive and reminded them that marksheets are not the final measure of success in life. He said exam results are only a stepping stone toward future opportunities and urged students to believe in their hard work and never lose confidence.
