Punjab Newsline, Chandigarh/Ludhiana, June 6-
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) launched an attack on Punjab Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Warring following his statement about the list of star campaigners being issued by the party's high command. AAP leaders stated that while the Congress Party has always had a culture of high command, its leaders continue to falsely accuse the Aam Aadmi Party of being controlled from Delhi. However, today, it has been proven who is truly running their party from Delhi.
AAP leaders questioned whether the Punjab Congress President does not even have the freedom to appoint star campaigners. They remarked that the Punjab Congress is, in fact, a puppet of Italy and Delhi's Indira Bhavan, completely helpless and powerless before its high command. AAP leaders advised the Congress Party to look into its own affairs before pointing fingers at others.
Laljit Singh Bhullar - Imagine being Punjab Congress President and having zero say in who speaks for your candidate in Ludhiana West. That’s exactly what Raja Warring admitted by saying that the list was decided by the High Command.
So, when others work as a team, Congress calls it 'interference.' But when they themselves blindly follow their High Command, they call it 'discipline'? Next time they point fingers, remind them who truly can't stand on their own two feet.
Barinder Goyal - Raja Warring has stated that the list of campaigners for the Ludhiana West by-election was issued by the Delhi High Command. Is Delhi treating Raja Warring like a puppet? Is Punjab Congress being run on the instructions of Delhi's Indira Bhavan?
Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal - Congress calls it “interference” when AAP leaders work together as a team. But Punjab Congress President Raja Warring openly admits that even his star campaigners are picked by the High Command, because he can’t decide them himself. And somehow, that’s called “discipline”? The hypocrisy couldn’t be louder.
Dr Ravjot - When AAP ministers coordinate policy and campaign efforts as a team, Congress calls it "Delhi interference." But Punjab Congress can’t even finalise its own star campaigners without the High Command’s approval — Raja Warring confirmed this himself. If your state president can't even make basic decisions, who’s really dictating terms? The hypocrisy speaks for itself.
