A moving display of faith and devotion was witnessed at the Shri Naina Devi Temple in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh, when a family from the Jejon area of Punjab’s Hoshiarpur district offered silver eyes to the deity after their son reportedly regained his eyesight.
According to the family, the boy suddenly lost his vision about three days ago, leaving them deeply concerned. The child was taken to several hospitals for treatment, but the family said his eyesight did not return immediately, causing considerable anxiety.
During this difficult period, the family prayed at the revered shrine of Maa Shri Naina Devi and made a vow. The boy’s mother said they promised to visit the temple and offer silver eyes to the goddess if their son recovered his vision.
The family claimed that after making the prayer and continuing treatment, the child’s eyesight returned. In fulfillment of their vow, they traveled to the Shri Naina Devi Temple and presented silver eyes as an offering to the deity.
At the temple, the family performed special prayers and expressed gratitude for what they described as a blessing from Maa Naina Devi. The mother said the family has deep faith in the goddess and prayed for the happiness, good health, and long life of her children.
The family also sought the continued blessings of Maa Naina Devi for the well-being and prosperity of all family members, describing the visit as an emotional and spiritually significant moment.
