Punjab Legislative Assembly Speaker S. Kultar Singh Sandhwan, emphasizing the role of moral values and religious principles in the uplifting of society and the nation, stated that prioritizing religion in our conduct is the greatest and most significant duty of human life. He clarified that religion provides the right direction to politics. To keep society strong, organized, and united, it is essential to adopt the core principles of religion in daily life.

S. Sandhwan was addressing a grand gathering on Sunday evening at Shri Amriteshwar Mahadev Temple located in Sector-89, Mohali. A special seminar on the topic 'Our Social Responsibility' was organized on the occasion of the completion of the holy Rudrabhishekh and divine worship during the month of Sawan, held under the patronage of Swami Sampurnanand Brahmachari Ji.

Religion Gives Right Direction to Politics and Conduct

Addressing devotees and dignitaries during the seminar, Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan said that real change in society is possible only when a person's conduct is based on truth, purity, and high moral values. By accepting the guidance of religion, we can not only contribute to making our country number one globally but also lead Punjab once again to new heights of progress, development, and prosperity.

Mutual Brotherhood and Human Values Are Real Service

Highlighting moral responsibilities amid growing societal division, S. Sandhwan stated that strengthening mutual brotherhood, social unity, harmony, and human values is our shared responsibility. The core tenets of religion—truth, selfless service, honesty, and humanity—are the pillars upon which a prosperous and welfare-oriented society can be built.

On this dignified occasion, Mohali MLA S. Kulwant Singh and Punjab Tourism and Heritage Board Advisor Mr. Deepak Bali were also present as special guests alongside Speaker S. Sandhwan. A large number of devotees, social workers, and prominent citizens attended the event.
