Actor Salman Khan joined the Khan family’s Ganesh Visarjan ceremony on Tuesday, taking part in the traditional festivities held at Sohail Khan’s residence as part of the family’s Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.
A video from the event has surfaced online, showing Salman performing the aarti for Lord Ganesha alongside family members. During the ritual, the actor was briefly seen rotating the aarti plate in the wrong direction.
His sister, Arpita Sharma, quickly pointed out the mistake and demonstrated the correct method, after which Salman immediately corrected himself and continued the prayer.
The ceremony was attended by several members of the Khan family, including Sohail Khan, Arpita Sharma and their children. Salman’s rumoured girlfriend, Iulia Vantur, was also present at the event and performed the aarti after him. Arpita was seen guiding Iulia through the ritual as well.
Veteran actress Helen and other guests also joined the celebrations and offered prayers. The Ganesh Visarjan was conducted within Sohail Khan’s residential complex, where a large water tank had been arranged for the immersion of the idol, allowing the family to complete the ceremony in a private setting.
The gathering reflected the family’s annual tradition of celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi together with devotion and enthusiasm.
