A shocking case has surfaced in Panipat district, where a man has allegedly been accused of drugging his own mother and sexually assaulting her.
According to the complaint, the accused allegedly made his mother consume a narcotic or poisonous substance on the night of August 14, causing her to lose consciousness. He then allegedly raped her while she was unconscious.
When the woman regained consciousness the following morning, the accused allegedly threatened to kill her if she disclosed the incident to anyone.
Despite the threat, the victim gathered courage and approached the police, where she reported the alleged crime and sought strict action against her son.
Police registered a case based on her complaint and arrested the accused.
Investigators are collecting evidence and recording the victim’s statement. Her medical examination is also being conducted as part of the investigation.
Police said further legal action is being taken according to procedure.
