Three youths riding a motorcycle were killed on the spot after being hit by a speeding car on the Fatehgarh Churian–Sangatpura road in Amritsar on Tuesday morning. The victims were residents of the same village and were reportedly engaged in the cattle trading business.

According to police, the deceased have been identified as Gurdeep Singh, Sandeep Singh and Jagtar Singh, all residents of Hardorawal Kalan village. The three were travelling on a motorcycle for some work when a fast-moving car rammed into them between Fatehgarh Churian and Sangatpura.

The impact of the collision was so severe that all three riders suffered critical injuries and died at the scene before help could arrive.

Eyewitnesses said the car driver abandoned the vehicle at the spot and fled immediately after the accident. Police reached the scene, took possession of the bodies and sent them for post-mortem examination.

A case has been registered, and efforts are underway to identify and arrest the absconding driver. The incident has triggered grief in Hardorawal Kalan village, where all three victims were well known in the local cattle trade community.
