Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal has submitted his Enumeration (SIR) Form under the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) campaign in Punjab. The update was shared by Punjab Chief Electoral Officer Anindita Mitra through her official social media handle.

The Election Department has also appealed to all eligible voters to complete the SIR process by filling out their enumeration forms with the assistance of their Booth Level Officers (BLOs). The Special Intensive Revision campaign, launched by the Election Commission, aims to update and verify the electoral roll to ensure it remains accurate and error-free.

As part of the drive, election officials are conducting door-to-door verification and distributing enumeration forms to voters across the state.

According to the Chief Electoral Officer, Punjab, as of July 1, enumeration forms had been distributed to 2,09,12,619 out of the state's 2,14,61,043 registered voters, covering 97.44% of the electorate under the SIR 2026 campaign.

While the collection of completed forms has begun and the digitization process is underway, the Election Department has not yet released official figures on the total number of forms submitted so far.
