A tragic road accident on the 152-D Expressway in Haryana’s Rohtak district claimed the lives of three people early Thursday morning. The accident took place near Khairdi village under the jurisdiction of Kalanaur Police Station.

According to police, a Tata vehicle heading towards Narnaul collided with a truck moving ahead of it from behind. The impact was so severe that the Tata vehicle was completely mangled, and all three occupants died on the spot.

After receiving information about the incident, a team from Kalanaur police station rushed to the spot and launched relief and rescue operations. The bodies were removed from the wrecked vehicle and sent to the mortuary in Rohtak for post-mortem examination.

One of the deceased has been identified as Manoj Kumar Jain, son of Subhash Chandra Jain, a resident of Ramkaran Das Colony, Narnaul. The identities of the two other victims are yet to be established, and police are making efforts to identify them.

Police have informed the victim’s family as well as Narnaul Police about the accident. Preliminary investigation suggests that the Tata vehicle was travelling from the Ambala side towards Narnaul when it crashed into the truck ahead.

Kalanaur police said that the exact cause of the accident is being investigated.
