Minister Bhullar to All Panch-Sarpanch: Do Not Fear; Strict Action Will Be Taken Against Anyone Who Threatens or Harms You

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab leader and Cabinet Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar shared details of the police action under the Punjab government's anti-drug campaign, 'Yudh Nashian Virudh,' conducted between March 1 and March 29.
Addressing a press conference at the party office in Chandigarh on Sunday, Bhullar stated that the Punjab Police has been executing this campaign successfully across the state. Under 'War Against Drugs,' 2680 FIRs have been registered under the NDPS Act, and 4542 drug traffickers have been arrested.
The police have seized over 164 kg of heroin, 88 kg of opium, 47 kg of cannabis, and cash amounting to over ₹5.84 crore. Additionally, more than 8.60 lakh intoxicating pills, 2053 kg of poppy husk, 6.4 kg of hashish, 498 bottles of illicit liquor, nearly 9.5 kg of narcotic powder, and 514 injections have been confiscated. The properties of approximately 50 individuals involved in drug trafficking, which were illegally constructed using drug money, have also been demolished.
