Surprise visit to government schools of Rupnagar district by Chief Minister

Buses are being provided to government schools for the convenience of students
Training centers will soon be established in different districts to prepare the youth for the civil services examination

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann today made a surprise visit to different government schools in the district to take stock of the ground situation of the revolutionary changes being made in the educational sector of the state.
The Chief Minister visited the government schools of School of Eminence, Sukho Majra and Government Senior Secondary School, Lutheri in Rupnagar district and gathered information about the facilities available in the schools. On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that he did not come to create fear by making a surprise visit to the schools, but he himself was visiting the government schools to remove the shortcomings, so that standard education could be ensured for the children.
To overcome the lack of means of transport for students studying from far-flung areas, the Chief Minister said that the state government is providing buses to all government schools, so that no student is deprived of education due to lack of means. . He said that earlier due to lack of resources our children, especially girls, were not able to complete their studies, but now all the necessary facilities will be provided to every student.
Expressing satisfaction over the education children are getting in government schools, the Chief Minister said, "When I interacted with the students today, I was very happy that all the children are very clear about their future and what career they have decided to pursue in life." Have to adopt a profession. I can say with certainty that now a big change is being seen in the education sector of Punjab. Many children are moving from private schools to enrolling in government schools. I have full confidence that this time government schools will get excellent results, which will encourage the efforts of my government.
The Chief Minister said that our government will make government schools a companion of time and Punjab will definitely emerge as a role model across the country. Bhagwant Singh Mann said, "The day is not far when government schools in the state will provide better education than private schools and parents will feel proud to send their children to government schools." He said that Delhi Such schools have changed the picture of the education sector there and today the government schools there are showing excellent performance. He said that now our government has pledged to make the education level of the state at world level and in future the educated child of Punjab will get a place in the top institutions of the world. He said that the government has recruited campus managers to look after the arrangements of the schools, so that smooth arrangements can be ensured.
Referring to making suitable changes in the school syllabus, the Chief Minister said that positive reforms should be made in the syllabus. He said that the life and philosophy of our great Guru Sahiban and the unmatched sacrifices of our martyrs should be a special part of our syllabus, so that children can be guided by our glorious history. Similarly, in the present era of skill development, there should be expected changes in the syllabus, so that our students can get skilled education.
The Chief Minister said with sadness that it was the misfortune of Punjab that in the past, government schools were yearning for basic facilities, but the governments did nothing for the improvement of these schools.

 Describing the 117 'Schools of Eminence' being established in all the districts of the state as institutions for the bright future of promising students, Bhagwant Mann said that the aim of bringing a new revolution in the education sector is to educate the promising and capable students, especially the children of government schools. We have to provide guidance and opportunities to make their dreams come true, so that these students can achieve good ranks in competitive examinations by surpassing the rest of the children of the country. These schools will be developed as institutions to hone and hone the hidden skills of the students, so that students can choose the profession of their choice. The Chief Minister said that the state government sent teachers from government schools to Singapore for teaching training, so that our teachers can become aware of the developed education system of the world.
Referring to the special program prepared by the government to fulfill the dreams of the youth, the Chief Minister said that to prepare the youth for competitive examinations, the state government is opening training centers in different districts, where I.A. S., I.P.S. And preparation will be done to pass other professional examinations.
