Indian and International artists enthrall tourists with cultural extravaganza at Surajkund Fair
Surajkund Craft Fair: A platform celebrating cultural diversity, costumes, and music from around the World

For the past 37 years, the Surajkund International Crafts Fair has served as a vibrant platform celebrating the diverse cultures, costumes, songs, and music from both India and abroad. From February 2 to 18 each year, this renowned fair brings together various artists who showcase the rich heritage of their respective countries through singing, musical performances, dance and more.
At the heart of the Surajkund International Crafts Fair, tourists are treated to a kaleidoscope of colorful cultural presentations from different states of India and foreign artists, fostering joy and appreciation for cultural diversity. On Sunday, marking the 17th and final day of the 37th Surajkund International Crafts Fair, domestic and foreign artists captivated the audience with their performances at the main Chaupal and Chhoti Chaupal.
Adding to the charm of the fair, artists from Tanzania, the partner country of this year's fair, mesmerized spectators with their traditional Zanjiwa dance at the main Chaupal. Meanwhile, artists from Guwahati, Assam, showcased the spectacular Rangali Vihu dance, a celebration of nature's beauty following the harvest season. Similarly, the Regis de Sao Tome group from Sao Tome and Principe, Africa, enthralled audiences with their Socopé dance performance in traditional attire.
Further enhancing the cultural mosaic, artists from Kyrgyzstan presented a captivating Nariste dance, while the National Group of Ethiopia showcased their cultural pride through dance.
At the Chhoti Chaupal, artists continued to dazzle the audience throughout the day with their performances. Local talents showcased their skills in various cultural programs.
Overall, the 37th Surajkund International Crafts Fair provided a memorable experience for all attendees, celebrating cultural exchange and artistic expression on a global stage.
