Inaugurates Park and announces Sports Stadium in Ghaseda village

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal on Saturday unveiled an eight and a half feet tall statue of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, in the historic village of Ghaseda in the Nuh district.
Addressing the villagers, he highlighted their unwavering patriotism by recalling their response to Mahatma Gandhi's call on December 19, 1947, when they chose to remain in their homeland. Mahatma Gandhi played a pivotal role in convincing the Mewat community to remain in India instead of migrating to Pakistan, recognizing their steadfast commitment to patriotism. Assuring the community of their full rights and respect, he appealed to them to continue residing in India. Their steadfast commitment to the nation was evident in their decision to remain. Whenever he passes through Ghaseda village, he not only pays homage to Mahatma Gandhi but also salutes the people of Ghaseda and Mewat for their unwavering spirit of patriotism, fostering unity and brotherhood among them.
Acknowleding Ghaseda village is a beacon of valor and youthful vigor, he announced the construction of a sports stadium in the village. This initiative aims to provide the youth with opportunities to excel in sports and harness their energy towards positive pursuits.
During the event, Chief Minister also inaugurated a park in the Gram Panchayat Ghaseda. He highlighted that this park would be beneficial for the local community, providing a space for people of all ages to enhance their health through morning and evening walks. Upon his arrival at Ghaseda village, the residents extended a traditional welcome to Chief Minister by garlanding him with flowers and presenting him with a turban.
Haryana Waqf Board Chairman Zakir Hussain, Rai MLA Mohanlal Badauli, District President BJP Narendra Patel, BJP leaders Surender Bhati and Tahir Hussain, village Sarpanch Imran and a large number of villagers were also present on this occasion
