Haryana CM extends Congratulations to UPSC Toppers from State over phone

The entire state is proud of all the candidates who have successfully cleared the examination

Chandigarh, April 18- Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh personally called and extended his congratulations to the successful candidates and their families from the state who cleared the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examination.
While talking personally to the candidates over phone who have successfully cleared the examination, he said that the state is proud of all the candidates who have successfully cleared the examination and they have not only made their families proud but have also brought laurels to the state. He said that the focus of every officer should be on uplifting the last-mile citizen.
While providing a guiding principle to these candidates to ensure their participation in public service, the Chief Minister said that they should use their talent to make such schemes and programs so that the country and the state move forward rapidly on the path of progress.
The Chief Minister emphasized that they must work in public service without discrimination, considering the entire state and country as one family, to promote prosperity in society.
The Chief Minister said that civil servants are considered as the 'steel frame of India', the executors of the policies a pillar on which the wheel of governance that churns policies and programs for the country.

‘Rules and Roles’ have their importance in civil service, Chief Minister
The Chief Minister said that they are embarking on a substantial journey in civil services. While rules are crucial, they should also pay significant attention to their roles. He stressed the importance of striking a balance between "Rules and Role" in civil service.
The Chief Minister said that the foremost duty of all civil servants is to make government services easily accessible to citizens and to empower the common person. Therefore, you people have to face many challenges in the civil service and take the country forward on the path of progress, said the Chief Minister.

Shivansh Rathi (63 rank), resident of village Kharhar in Bahadurgarh, said that he was surprised when he received a call from the Chief Minister to congratulate him, he was very happy to talk personally to the Chief Minister because he had never thought that he would talk to the him on the phone like this.
Similarly, Gaurav Yadav (234 rank), a resident of Rewari district also felt happy while talking to the Chief Minister. He said that the Chief Minister has advised him to serve the public without discrimination, which he feels will be useful in his future career.
Abhilash Sundaram (421 rank) a resident of Bahadurgarh, district Jhajjar, Dr. Pragati Verma (355 rank) a resident of Rohtak, Akashdeep (166 rank) a resident of Ganaur, Sonipat district expressed their happiness over talking to the Chief Minister.
