CHANDIGARH: Haryana Power Engineers Association is planning an agitation against the failures of the managements to resolve all the agreed pending demands and is greatly perturbed over the cancellation of scheduled meeting with the Association as CMD who was to chair the meeting was not available.
The meeting was called by the management as per directions of Punjab & Haryana High Court to consider the view point of Association within 4 weeks on the transfer policy and then revise the policy.
The executive committee of Haryana Power Engineers Association in a Press Note condemned the transfer policy which has been formed to divide the engineers. The transfer policy does not allow rotation of all the engineers but pick and chose policy has been made to favor their blue eyed engineers. K D Bansal President of association said there is a massive scam involved in the transfer and posting of engineers under the guise of so called transfer policy.
K Malik General Secretary of Association said that the number of demands which has been agreed in principal by the management is not being implemented. The pay anomaly in the scale of assistant engineers is pending for the last so many rears.
There is abnormal delay in the promotions of engineers at various levels especially in HVPN where a large number of vacancies are there. The promotion should be made immediately as and when a vacancy arises at the start of every month. The Association also condemned the extension given to a Director beyond superannuation and demanded that the extension to Directors after their tenure is over should be scrapped immediately.
