CHANDIGARH: The State level event of 4th International Yoga Day will be celebrated on June 21 at Sports Complex, Sector 78 in Mohali from 7:00 to 8:00 am.
Divulging further, an official spokesperson said that as per the protocol issued by the AYUSH Ministry, the International Yoga Day is being celebrated at the state and district level in the state of Punjab. He said that Medical officers/Dispensers have been trained by the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga, AYUSH Ministry, New Delhi to further teach yoga exercises to the general public.
The Spokesperson informed that these trainers have been conducting training workshops and seminars since two months with various departments of the state such as Police, Education, Jails, Punjab Armed Police and NGOs so that the objective of the Yoga Day can be achieved.
