Selection competition program will be organized from April 8 to April 10, 2024 at the testing centre Hisar run by the Sports Authority of India Training Center. In this, athletics and boxing programmes will be organized on 8th April, boxing and hockey on 9th April and hockey and wrestling competitions on 10th April. Both boys and girls between the age of 9 to 18 years can participate in the competition.
Giving more information in this regard, Nishant Kumar Maurya, Assistant Director of the Sports Authority Training Center, Hisar, located at Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, said that under the Youth Affairs and Sports Ministry, the Sports Authority of India is organizing the Khelo India Rising Talent Identification (KIRTI) program. He said that athletes need to register on the portal https://mybharat.gov.in/ and submit their online application along with their date of birth certificate, 10th-grade mark sheet, Aadhaar card, passport or any other valid government document, and a valid phone number to deposit their original documents at the Sports Authority Training Center in Hisar.
In addition, athletes can also register at the center with all their documents to participate in the KIRTI program. All athletes participating in the competition will have to undergo these tests. Based on the tests, their evaluation will be done, and they will be given a KIRTI report card based on their performance
