Haryana Police: Epitome of Service Reunite Missing Man with Family after 22 Years

Punjab Newsline, Chandigarh, May 27-
Haryana Police Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) stands tall as a beacon of hope, exemplifying the spirit of "Service is the Highest Duty." ASI Rajesh Kumar and his team, driven by a deep sense of duty and humanity, are regularly reuniting families torn apart by the loss of loved ones.
In a remarkable feat, ASI Kumar reunited Amit, a man missing for 22 years, with his overjoyed family. Separated at the young age of 7, Amit's relentless search for his family finally bore fruit after years of struggle. With only fragmented memories of an oil mill in his village and the name "Bala Chowk," ASI Kumar embarked on a meticulous investigation using technology and perseverance. Despite initial setbacks, his determination paid off when a villager in Balachaur recognized Amit from a circulated photo.
The reunion was filled with overwhelming emotions. Tears of joy streamed down Amit's mother's face as she embraced her long-lost son after two decades. The entire family expressed their heartfelt gratitude to ASI Kumar, hailing him as a godsend for reuniting them.
This case exemplifies ASI Kumar's unwavering dedication. He has reunited over 800 missing children with their families, driven not just by duty but by a personal mission. His commitment to social service and the immense satisfaction he finds in reuniting families are truly commendable.
