The Constitution is Safe, but the Congress is Diminishing, Nayab Singh
Punjab Newsline, Chandigarh, June 26-
In alignment with PM Narendra Modi's dream of a roof over every poor person's head, the Haryana government has launched the Mukhyamantri Shehri Awas Yojana to realize the dream of a home for poor families in the state. Under this scheme, 15,250 beneficiaries have been given plot allotment certificates today.
At the state-level ceremony was held at Maharshi Dayanand University in Rohtak, where the Chief Minister attended as the chief guest, distributed the plot allotment letters to the beneficiaries on the spot. Simultaneously, programs were also held in four other locations, namely Yamunanagar, Palwal, Sirsa, and Mahendragarh.
Addressing the gathering Nayab Singh said that today is a very happy day as the dream of owning a home is coming true for poor people. The Mukhyamantri Shehri Awas Yojana is not just a scheme but a commendable initiative by PM and our ‘double-engine sarkar’ to bring smiles to the faces of the poor and fulfill their dreams. Our government's goal is to simplify the lives of the poor and empower them so they can advance their families and provide good education to their children, he said.
Furthermore, officers have been directed to develop a portal so that any eligible beneficiary who has been left out or any other citizen wanting to avail of this scheme can apply, said the Chief Minister. He informed that just a few days ago, over one lakh eligible beneficiaries of the labor department were provided benefits worth Rs. 80 crores under various schemes.
The Constitution is Safe, but Congress is Diminishing, CM
The Chief Minister said that opposition parties lied during the elections that if PM Modi became the Prime Minister for the third time, he would abolish the Constitution and reservation. However, for the past 10 years, the Prime Minister has run this country in accordance with the Constitution. Today, the Constitution is safe, but Congress is diminishing, said Nayab Singh.
He said that our government provided 5 marks to children from poor families with no jobs for securing jobs. However, the opposition's ‘Bharti Roko’ gang does not want the poor to get jobs. This gang went to the Supreme Court against our government's provision. We fought this battle in the Supreme Court, but now we will file a review petition. If no solution is found, we will enact a law in the assembly to provide 5 marks and work towards giving jobs to the poor, said the Chief Minister.
