A 32-year-old man was found dead on a road in Gali Number 29 of Paras Ram Nagar, Bathinda, on Sunday night, with an injection reportedly found in his arm. A suspected drug overdose is being considered as a possible cause of death, although the exact reason will be established only after the post-mortem examination and further investigation.
The deceased was identified as Ramesh Kumar, a resident of Paras Ram Nagar, Bathinda. He was reportedly married.
According to Sonu Maheshwari, president of the social service organisation Naujawan Welfare Society, the organisation received information on Sunday night that a young man was lying unconscious on the road in Gali Number 29.
