AAP condemns the violent act of former Deputy CM Sukhjinder Randhawa's son

Chandigarh, August 24: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) launched a scathing attack on former Deputy CM Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa after videos of his son's hooliganism went viral on social media. Sukhjinder Randhawa's son beat up a student of Punjab University and tried to kidnap him misusing the security cover of his father.

Addressing the media from the party office, AAP Punjab chief spokesperson Malvinder Singh Kang said that these people are 'former' now and do not have any power but still their sons/family members are behaving like hooligans and mistreating the common people like that. One can imagine how they used to behave while being in power.

Kang added that instead of letting police do its work according to law, Sukhjinder Randhawa was present in Sector 17 police station all night to influence the proceedings and intimidate the police personnel there. He urged the Chandigarh administrator, the Governor, to ensure justice to the injured student.

Kang said that now that the Mann government doesn't allow such acts of hooliganism in Punjab that's why these people have moved to Chandigarh. He added, no surprise Randhawa's son is such a hooligan when his father was patronizing gangsters like Ansari while being the jail minister and the deputy CM of the state.
