AAP Punjab Appoints Constituency In-Charges for Five Assemblies

Pawan Tinu In-charge of Adampur, Harji Mann for Phagwara, Sonia Mann for Raja Sansi, Jaswinder Shinda for Bathinda Rural, and Advocate Karamveer Chandi for Kapurthala Assembly Constituency

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has expanded its organizational structure in Punjab by appointing constituency in-charges for five assembly constituencies.

 For the Adampur Assembly constituency, Pawan Kumar Tinu has been appointed as the constituency in-charge. Pawan Tinu is currently a senior spokesperson for the Aam Aadmi Party. Recently, he was also appointed as the Chairman of the Punjab State Cooperative Bank by the government. He has also served as an MLA twice, from 2012 to 2022, and contested the Lok Sabha elections in 2014 and 2024.


For the Phagwara Assembly constituency, Harji Mann (Harnoor Singh Mann) has been given the responsibility of constituency in-charge. Harji Mann is the son of Punjab’s former minister Joginder Singh Mann and the grandson of former Union Home Minister Buta Singh. Currently, he is a spokesperson for the party.


For the Raja Sansi Assembly constituency, Sonia Mann has been appointed as the constituency in-charge. Sonia Mann is the daughter of Kirti Kisan Union leader Baldev Singh and a Punjabi film actress. Her father played a significant role in the Delhi Farmers’ Movement. She is also actively involved in social service.


Advocate Karamveer Chandi has been appointed as the constituency in-charge for Kapurthala Assembly. He has been practicing law at Kapurthala District Court for the last 15 years. He is a member of the Punjab and Haryana Bar Council and serves as the Secretary of the Rice Mill Association, Kapurthala.

Jaswinder Singh Shinda has been given the responsibility of constituency in-charge for the Bathinda Rural. Shinda has been associated with the Aam Aadmi Party since 2019 and is currently the State Secretary of the Party's Sports Wing. He is also the President of the Football Association in Bathinda district.


AAP Punjab In-Charge Manish Sisodia congratulated all the newly appointed office bearers. He stated that these appointments would enhance organizational efficiency and further strengthen the party. 

AAP Punjab President Aman Arora also extended his congratulations and expressed confidence that all the newly appointed leaders would fulfill their responsibilities with dedication and diligence. Arora mentioned that the goal of expanding the organization is to strengthen the party in every assembly constituency and to build a robust organizational structure down to the booth level.
