Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor paid tribute to her ex-husband, businessman Sunjay Kapur, on his death anniversary on Friday through a simple yet emotional social media post.
Sunjay Kapur passed away on June 12 last year. Remembering him, Karisma shared a message on her Instagram Stories along with the date “12/6/2025,” writing, “Sunjay always remains in our hearts.” The post also included folded hands, a white heart, and a dove emoji, reflecting her sentiments on the occasion.
Her tribute comes at a time when a legal battle over Sunjay Kapur’s estimated ₹30,000 crore estate is ongoing among family members, including Karisma’s children, his wife Priya Sachdev Kapur, his mother Rani Kapur, and others.
Meanwhile, Priya Sachdev also remembered her late husband with an emotional post on social media. She wrote that even a year after his passing, his presence continues to guide the family. She described him as a person full of energy, curiosity, and determination, who inspired others to dream big and work hard.
She further added that his values, the lives he touched, and the love he shared continue to keep his memory alive, calling his love their strength and his memories a blessing.
