Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Aman Arora has been appointed new president of the party's Punjab unit. CM Bhagwant Mann gave this information by sharing a post on social media.
CM Mann wrote on X (Twitter), 'Today I have handed over the responsibility of party president to my two close colleagues, Cabinet Minister Aman Arora and MLA Amansher Singh Shery Kalsi.The party has decided that Aman Arora will serve as the party president and Shari Kalsi as the vice president. I have full faith in both my colleagues that in the coming times, they will further strengthen the party and organization in Punjab and take it to new heights.
Mann had recently expressed his desire to step down as the party president, citing his preoccupation with his duties as the Chief Minister of Punjab.
