Apple has launched its first-ever foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo, at its latest launch event. The device features a 5.4-inch cover display and a 7.6-inch main screen, making it the largest display ever seen on an iPhone.
The iPhone Duo introduces a dual-battery system for the first time in an iPhone. It also comes without a physical SIM card slot and will work exclusively with eSIM.
The foldable iPhone is Apple’s most expensive iPhone to date, with the starting price at around ₹3 lakh, while the top-end variant is priced at nearly ₹4.5 lakh. In India, bookings will begin on October 16, with sales starting October 23.
Alongside the foldable model, Apple also unveiled the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, featuring upgraded camera technology aimed at delivering professional-level photography. The company also introduced the AirPods 5, Apple Watch Series 12 and Watch Ultra 4.
