Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will meet the toppers of the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) Class 12 examinations today (May 14) at his official residence in Chandigarh.
Students securing the top three positions along with their families have been invited to the special felicitation ceremony.
During the event, the Chief Minister will hand over scholarship cheques to the toppers and congratulate both the students and their parents for their outstanding achievements.
The Punjab School Education Board had declared the Class 12 results on Wednesday, with three girl students emerging as toppers. The overall pass percentage this year stood at 91.46 percent.
A total of 2,65,417 students appeared for the examination, out of which 2,42,755 students successfully passed.
This year’s top performers include Supreet Kaur from Gurukul Academy Public School, Mansa, Suhani Chauhan from BCM Public Senior Secondary School, Ludhiana, and Divyanshi from Swatantra Memorial Senior Secondary School. All three students scored a perfect 500 out of 500 marks, securing the top three ranks in the state.
