A major breakthrough has been achieved in the Parvinder Jhota case, with the Punjab Government and the concerned family reaching an agreement on their key demands. The government has agreed to provide ₹2 crore as compensation and a government job to one member of the family.

The decision was reached during a meeting with Punjab Assembly Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan and Agriculture Minister, where the demands raised by the family and other concerned parties were discussed in detail.

Apart from financial compensation and a government job, the government has also agreed to cancel all cases registered against Parvinder Jhota. The decision is being seen as a significant development towards resolving the prolonged dispute.

With an agreement reached on all major demands, hopes are now rising that the controversy will soon come to an end. However, the actual implementation will depend on the completion of formal procedures related to compensation, the appointment and withdrawal of the cases.
