Blood donation camp organised at Kurukshetra University campus on the occasion of Dr. Ambedkar's birth anniversary

Chandigarh, April 19- Kurukshetra University (KU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Som Nath Sachdeva said that donating blood for the welfare of humanity is a great virtue and one unit of blood donation has the potential to save three lives. Blood donation does not cause any weakness in the body.
Prof. Som Nath was speaking at a one-day blood donation camp organised on Friday under the joint aegis of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Studies Center and Divya Kurukshetra Mission of Kurukshetra University on the occasion of the 134th birth anniversary of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar.
KU, Vice-Chancellor mentioned the crucial role played by the LNJP hospital and team and underlined that a human should donate blood for the welfare of humanity while fulfilling his social responsibility in order to save a person's life.
