Chief Minister launched two new schemes

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh said that the government is committed to provide social security to all citizens. Upholding this spirit apart from social security pension, medical security is also being provided to the weaker sections of the society.
The Chief Minister said this while digitally disbursing the Financial Assistance 3rd and 4th Stage Cancer Patient Portal today. He launched two new schemes online to provide financial assistance to people suffering from cancer and 55 other rare diseases. Minister JP Dalal was also present on this occasion.
The Chief Minister said that now cancer patients of stage 3 and 4 will also get financial assistance of Rs 3000 per month. People suffering from cancer and 55 other rare diseases can avail benefits by applying online through Saral portal.
He said that this financial assistance will be in addition to the benefits available under any other social security pension scheme. This scheme has been implemented for people of all age groups. In this the annual income should be less than Rs 3 lakh.
The Chief Minister said that cancer patients along with an attendant are also being provided free travel facility from their home to the Cancer Institute in Haryana State Transport buses.
The Chief Minister said that cancer patients can apply on the Saral portal with medical records verified by the Civil Surgeon. After this, online approval will be given by the District Social Welfare Officer.
