The dream of owning a home in Chandigarh has received a major boost as the UT Estate Office has announced the e-auction of 10 freehold residential plots located in various prime sectors of the city.
Interested buyers can start submitting applications and depositing the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) from June 2. The application and EMD submission process will remain open until 5 PM on June 23, 2026.
According to the Estate Office, the online e-auction will be conducted from June 27 to June 29, 2026. The residential plots up for auction are situated in Sectors 15-B, 20, 21, 23, 27-D, 30-A, 37-A, and 44-B.
The plot sizes range from 100 square yards to 502 square yards. The highest reserve prices have been fixed for plots in Sectors 21 and 44, where nearly 500-square-yard properties have been valued at up to ₹16.58 crore.
Meanwhile, the most affordable options are two 100-square-yard plots in Sector 44-B, each carrying a reserve price of ₹3.30 crore.
The Estate Office has also clarified that successful bidders for corner plots and park-facing plots will be required to pay an additional 5% premium over the bid amount.
