Punjab Government has stepped up efforts to resolve the long-pending demands of various state employee associations and unions. In a major administrative initiative, the Cabinet Sub-Committee, headed by Punjab Finance Minister Advocate Harpal Singh Cheema, held a series of meetings with representatives of several employee unions to review their concerns and work towards time-bound solutions.

During the meetings, Cheema held detailed discussions with representatives of the 3704 Adhiyapak Union, the ETT 2364 Adhiyapak Union, the E.T. The Finance Minister acknowledged the vital contribution of rural medical practitioners and discussed the administrative measures required to expedite their formal training in coordination with the Health Department.

Representatives who attended the meetings included Harjinder Singh, Yadwinder Singh and Jeevanjot Singh from the 3704 Adhiyapak Union; Samarjit Singh, Gurdeep Singh and Jugraj Singh from the ETT 2364 Adhiyapak Union; Kamal Thakur, Sohan Singh and Gurmukh Singh from the E.T.
