CM Mann pays obeisance at Golden Temple, Durgiana Mandir, Sri Valmiki Teerath with his family

Prayed for peace and prosperity of Punjab, refused to make any political comments

Chandigarh/Amritsar, April 26

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, along with his family and newborn daughter Niyamat Kaur Mann, paid obeisance at Golden Temple, Durgiana Mandir, Sri Valmiki Teerath S'than and Sri Ram Teerath Mandir.

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is in Amritsar for the election campaign of the AAP, but on Friday morning CM Mann, with his family, visited the religious places of the holy city Amritsar. Mann on this occasion said that he was blessed with 'Waheguru di Niyamat' last month referring to his newborn daughter, so he is here with his family today to thank God for all his blessings. He was also accompanied by Dr Gurpreet Kaur Mann and Cabinet Minister and AAP candidate Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal.

Mann, addressing the media here, refused to comment on any political matter and said that he is only here to pray for peace and prosperity of Punjab. He said that he also prayed for the strength to live up to his responsibilities and keep working for 'Rangla Punjab'. Mann added that it is our fortune that the people of all religions and backgrounds live peacefully in Punjab. We celebrate Gurpurabs, Eids and Navamis together. He said that he prayed for forever communal harmony and unity among Punjabis and their success.
