Continuing its endeavor to upscale the teaching skills of the teachers and principals of government schools, the Punjab CM Bhagwant Singh Mann on Saturday flagged off the seventh batch of 36 Principals to get training at Principal’s Academy, Singapore from March 9-15.

Interacting with the media persons, the Chief Minister, accompanied by Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains, said that it is a red letter day in the history of the state as this will go a long way in imparting quality education to the students. He said that the well trained staff has helped in enhancing the rate of admissions in the government schools of the state adding that Punjab is witnessing education revolution across the state as the state government has laid major thrust on it. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that now the teachers and Principals are focusing only on education as for all the rest of work, the required staff has been recruited by the state government.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister extended good wishes to the Indian cricket team for the upcoming final match of Champions Trophy slated to be held tomorrow.
