A book based on the achievements of the Haryana government's nine years was also presented to Advani

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal today met former Deputy Prime Minister and veteran leader of the BJP Lal Krishna Advani on being awarded the highest honour Bharat Ratna at his residence in New Delhi.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister also presented a book based on the achievements of the state government during the past nine years and provided information about the schemes and works being carried out in Haryana. Advani expressed satisfaction over the works being done in Haryana.
Notably, this was Chief Minister first meeting with former Deputy Prime MinisterAdvani after the announcement of awarding Bharat Ratna to him. During this meeting discussions were held on various important subjects.
After the meeting, while talking to the media, the CM said that Advani always inspires everyone to move forward and keeps moving forward with everyone. There is a special feeling of affection in meeting him. When the announcement of awarding Bharat Ratna to Advani was made on February 3, it was a matter of joy for us. He said that at that time only, he had decided that whenever he comes to Delhi, he will definitely meet him.
The Chief Minister also expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister and the Central Government for conferring Bharat Ratna to Advani.
Manohar Lal said that along with the big personalities of the country, be it Karpuri Thakur, Sh. Narasimha Rao, Chaudhary Charan Singh, and Dr. Swaminathan, every great person has their own uniqueness, and considering the contribution they have made to nation-building, the decision to honour them with the highest civilian award is certainly a commendable step taken by the government. He said that in a month, the Indian government has awarded the Bharat Ratna to five special personalities, this is a commendable step.
Caste-based politics should not be there, decisions are made based on work: CM
The Chief Minister said that the Bharat Ratna is given by considering the contribution of the person related to the country. Talent is not seen in caste-based politics, but in work. Whatever the caste, selection is made based on notable work. He said that caste-based politics should never happen in the country, it is harmful. Those who think of caste-based politics cannot do good for the country, he said. Sharing the details regarding the meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the Chief Minister said that all arrangements remained in place, especially regarding the Delhi march of farmers on February 13.
Responding to bringing ‘Motion of Thanks’ in the parliament on Ram Temple, the Chief Minister said that whatever proposal comes, MPs express their opinion considering their feelings. Whatever proposal has come, everyone will benefit from it. Regarding the nomination of members to the Rajya Sabha, the Chief Minister said that this is decided by the party's parliamentary board.
