- Days after the National Commission for Scheduled Castes issued a notice to it, the Punjab government has constituted a special investigation team to look into the allegations of sexual misconduct against Food and Civil Supplies Minister Lal Chand Kataruchak.
The SIT, headed by DIG (border range, Amritsar) Narinder Bhargav, also has Gurdaspur SSP Dayama Harish Kumar and Pathankot SSP Harkamalpreet Singh Khakh as members.
