The Special Cell of the Delhi Police has busted a suspected terror module with alleged links to Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI and the Mumbai underworld, arresting nine individuals in a major security operation.
According to police officials, weapons and explosive materials were recovered from the possession of the arrested accused. The operation was carried out based on long-term surveillance and specific intelligence inputs.
Authorities said the module had been under observation for some time before a coordinated raid was launched to apprehend its members.

They were reportedly assigned the task of targeting important installations and security force locations in the national capital.
Police further stated that the accused were plotting attacks on public places and sensitive security establishments. Further investigation into the network and its wider connections is currently underway.
