A case of alleged firing outside the Amritsar residence of popular comedian and actor Kapil Sharma has come to light. According to reports, some unidentified bike-borne miscreants opened fire outside the house late on Monday night.
Sources said the incident took place outside Kapil Sharma’s house located in the Holy City area of Amritsar. At the time of the incident, Kapil Sharma’s family members were reportedly inside the house, while the comedian himself was said to be in Mumbai for a shooting assignment.
Fortunately, no injuries or casualties have been reported in the incident. However, police officials are currently avoiding making any detailed statement regarding the matter.
Attempts were made to contact Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar and Assistant Commissioner of Police Kamalpreet Singh, but the officers declined to officially confirm the incident.
