Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab received a major boost in Balluana as several prominent personalities, former BJP leaders and local representatives joined the party, expressing confidence in the people-friendly policies and development initiatives of the Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab government.

MLA Amansher Singh Sherry Kalsi formally welcomed the new members into the party and expressed confidence that their joining would further strengthen AAP’s presence in the region.

Among the prominent leaders who joined AAP were Vikram Dehran, a retired senior manager of Punjab National Bank (PNB); Chamkaur, former BJP Mandal president; Shivraj Singh, Sarpanch of Bishanpura village in Balluana; and Gautam Sokhal, former BJP Circle president from Saiyadwala.

Other prominent entrants included Ram Kumar, former Sarpanch of Kerakhera village in Balluana; Ramandeep Singh; and Rameshwar Lal, a former Panchayat member.

Jagdish Sangwal, former General Secretary of the Punjab BJP OBC Morcha; Surinder Sharma, who served as personal assistant to the former Balluana MLA; and Sanjeev Kumar, Balluana Circle president, also joined the Aam Aadmi Party.

Welcoming the leaders, MLA Amansher Singh Sherry Kalsi said they would be accorded due respect and recognition within the party. He expressed hope that their association with AAP would contribute to strengthening the party at the grassroots level and advancing its development agenda in the region.

The induction of these leaders is being viewed as a significant development for AAP in Balluana, with the party gaining support from individuals associated with different political and social backgrounds.
