Three prominent figures from Punjab’s Majithia family entered the political fold of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday, marking a significant development in the state’s political landscape.

Raj Mohinder Singh Majithia, former RTI Commissioner Heminder Singh Majithia, and Chief Khalsa Diwan member Sukhdeep Singh Majithia officially joined AAP in the presence of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.

The party leadership described the induction as a “major and important expansion” of its organisational base in Punjab.

Welcoming the new members, CM Bhagwant Mann honoured them and expressed confidence that their experience would strengthen the party’s reach and public engagement.

AAP stated that the inclusion of these prominent personalities from religious, social, and political spheres will provide fresh momentum to the party in Punjab and further consolidate its position in the state.
