Revenue, Rehabilitation and Disaster Management Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian handed over appointment letters to 48 District System Managers (DSMs) and Assistant System Managers (ASMs) at Punjab Bhawan.
Mundian said that the selected candidates include 11 District System Managers and 37 Assistant System Managers, recruited through a completely merit-based and transparent selection process conducted by the Punjab Land Records Society.
He said the state government is committed to providing timely government jobs to deserving youth and strengthening public service delivery systems across departments.
The newly appointed officials will undergo a two-month training program at the Director Land Records, Jalandhar, which includes one month of revenue training and one month of field training to prepare them for effective work in land records management.
The Minister emphasized that these appointments will further strengthen Punjab’s digital land records system and improve citizen-centric services. He also urged the recruits to work with honesty, dedication, and professionalism while contributing to the vision of “Rangla Punjab.”
Additional Chief Secretary-cum-Financial Commissioner Revenue Anurag Verma said the selection process was fully transparent and merit-based, without any recommendations or external influence. He added that the role of DSMs and ASMs is crucial in managing and updating Punjab’s digitized land records system efficiently.
