Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal expressed condolence on the demise of senior press photojournalist of Chandigarh Santokh Singh, popularly known as Taaya Ji. He expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed to Almighty God to give place to the departed soul at His feet.
Sardar Santokh Singh was fighting cancer for a long time and he lost the battle of life on Thursday morning. Presently he was the chief photojournalist of Rojana Spokesman. He had also previously worked as Tracer, Map Navis in Punjab State Industries Export Corporation PSIEC, Sector 17, Chandigarh, but he was very proficient in cartooning, painting.
Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister and Principal Secretary, Information, Public Relations, Language and Culture Department, Shri V Umashankar and Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister and Director General, Information, Public Relations, Language and Culture Department, Dr. Amit Agarwal also expressed deep condolences on the demise of Sardar Santokh Singh.
