Haryana Police Has Suitably Disposed Off The Grievances Of 93% Of The People Who Submitted Their Complaints To Anil Vij, Home Minister

CHANDIGARH: Haryana Police has suitably disposed off the grievances of 93% of the people who submitted their complaints to Anil Vij, Home Minister.

Giving this information here today, Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order), Navdeep Singh Virk said that a total of 9,384 complaints related to Police, CID, HAP, IRB, Railways and other units were received at Police headquarters through the Home Minister Office, since assuming office. Out of these, 8,755 complaints have already been resolved and 629 are under process.

He said that Home Minister Sh. Anil Vij has instructed the Police to redress all issues and grievances once a complaint from his office is received on any matter and attempt to resolve it as early as possible. Following his directives, the DGP Haryana, Sh. Manoj Yadava had instructed all the field units that once a complaint is received, it should be resolved on priority in a minimum possible time. It’s a big achievement as we have achieved a high rate of disposal. We are according top priority for redressal of public grievances across the state, he added.

The maximum 100 per cent redressal of complaints has been done by the office of IGP HAP Madhuban, 1st Bn. HAP Ambala, 3rd Bn. HAP Hisar, 5th Bn. HAP Madhuban, IRB Bhondsi, CID and Telecom. The performance of district police in disposing public complaints has been ranging between 89 per cent and 97 per cent.
