Haryana Scheduled Castes Finance And Development Corporation Has Provided A Financial Assistance Of Rs 400.78 Lakh To 566 Beneficiaries, Including A Subsidy Of Rs 36.89 Lakh Under Various Schemes During The Current Financial Year Till August 2020

CHANDIGARH: Haryana Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation has provided a financial assistance of Rs 400.78 lakh to 566 beneficiaries, including a subsidy of Rs 36.89 lakh under various schemes during the current financial year till August 2020.

Giving information in this regard, an official spokesperson of the Corporation said that the corporation provides loans under various categories to the people belonging to Scheduled Castes to facilitate them in establishing their business and in order to make them self-employed.

These categories include agriculture and allied sectors, industrial sector, trade and business sector and self-employment sector. Financial assistance is also being provided to them under the schemes implemented with the help of National Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation.

He informed that under Agriculture and Allied Sector, a loan of Rs 192.80 lakh has been provided to 338 beneficiaries for dairy farming, poultry farming, sheep farming, pig farming and buffalo-cart. Of this, Rs 174.72 lakh have been released as bank loan, Rs 17.86 lakh as subsidy and Rs 22,000 as margin money.

The spokesperson revealed that under the schemes of the industrial sector, an amount of Rs 7.40 lakh was provided to 10 beneficiaries, out of which Rs 5.66 lakh has been released as bank loan, Rs 1 lakh as subsidy and Rs 74,000 as margin money. Similarly, an amount of Rs 148.38 lakh was provided to 198 beneficiaries under the trade and business sector, out of which Rs 115.91 lakh have been released as bank loan, Rs 17.63 lakh as subsidy and Rs 14.84 lakh as margin money.

He informed that under this scheme implemented with the assistance of National Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation, Rs 41.20 lakh was released to 15 beneficiaries during this period. Of this, the direct loan share of National Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation is Rs 37.08 lakh and the direct share of Haryana Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation is Rs 3.72 lakh. Moreover, a subsidy of Rs 40,000 was also distributed.

The spokesperson said that under the schemes implemented with the help of National Safai Karamcharis Finance and Development Corporation, Rs 11 lakh was released to 5 beneficiaries during this period. Of this, the direct loan share of National Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation is Rs 9.90 lakh and the direct share of Haryana Scheduled Caste Finance and Development Corporation is Rs 4.82 lakh.
