Himachal Chief Minister Announces Pandra-Bees as Sub-Tehsil; Dedicated Rs. 165CR Developmental Projects in Rampur

Chief Minister  Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu while addressing a public meeting at Sarahan in Rampur tehsil of district Shimla today announced to open sub-tehsil in Pandra-Bees area of Rampur. He announced bus stand and shopping complex to be constructed at Nankhari, renaming of Nalati Stadium at Rampur in the name of former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, renaming of Middle School Kinnu in the name of Martyr Pawan Dhangal, ITI at Badhawli, construction of parking lot for vehicles at Rampur and Rs. 50 Lakh for rejuvenation of Sarpara lake.
The Chief Minister questioned as who all were inspiring the rebel MLAs and financing their stay outside the state? The people of the state very well know that the BJP has shred its moral values and is impatient to come to the power by hook or crook. It has been the cheap modus-operandi of BJP to conspire against the sitting congress governments on money power and other tactics, he said.
Counting the guarantees, the Chief Minister said that the government recently fulfilled its fifth guarantee by announcing Rs. 1,500 per month to the women folks of the state aged above 18 years. Similarly, the government restored the OPS, it launched the Rs. 680 crore Rajiv Gandhi Start-up Yojana for providing self-employment opportunities to the youth, started English medium in all of the government schools and increased the procurement price of cow and buffalo milk to Rs. 45 and Rs. 55, respectively. He said that in order to economically empower the farmers, the government has announced enhancing the support price for organically produced wheat and maize at the rate of Rs. 40 and to Rs. 30 per kg respectively.
He said that the government has started Mukhya Mantri Sukh Aarogya Yojana under which all those above 70 year of age would be provided free of cost treatment in the government hospitals. Besides, this the wages of MNREGA workers has been enhanced by Rs. 60.
He also paid obeisance at Bhima Kali temple Sarahan.
PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh while welcoming the Chief Minister thanked him for dedicating projects of PWD department amounting to around Rs. 100 crore.
He said that the government was committed for the welfare of weaker section of the society and was more considerate for empowering women.
Chairman State Planning Commission Nand Lal expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister to inaugurating and laying foundation stones of developments projects which were pending since long.
Earlier, the Chief Minister dedicated around 25 development projects worth Rs. 165 crore at Sarahan for Rampur Assembly Constituency
Inauguration.
He inaugurated Rs. 9.54 crore Trauma Centre at Mahatma Gandhi Medical Service Complex (MGMSC) Khaneri, Rs. 6.95 crore Science Block at PG College Rampur and Rs. 9.85 crore Sports Complex at Duttnagar. He also inaugurated Lecture Theatre Block at Mahatma Gandhi Government Engineering College, Kotla (Jeori), constructed with an outlay of Rs. 16.05 crore, Civil Engineering Block at Mahatma Gandhi Government Engineering College Kotla (Jeori) completed with a cost of Rs. 16.04 crore and Rs. 11.75 crore Mechanical Block at Mahatma Gandhi Government Engineering College Kotla. Other inaugurations includes Rs. 2.20 crore Lift Water Supply Scheme (LWSS) from Machhada khud to Khanewli group of villages in Gram Panchayat Devnagar in Rampur, Rs. 1.10 crore LWSS for left out habitations of Addu Jawalda in Gram Panchayat Bagallti in Nankhari, Rs. 2.13 crore Gravity Water Supply Scheme (GWSS) to harijan basti Talara Majgaon, Rangori, Odhidhar, Deu, Kunni and Shahdhar in Gram Panchayat Shahdhar of Rampur, Rs. 2.24 crore GWSS Noon khud to Jahu-Junni-Banibasa and Gahan in Gram Panchayat Jahu Khunni in Nankhari, rupees two crore GWSS to various habitations under Jal Shakti Sub-Division Rampur, Rs. 1.98 crore for strengthening of various source of WSS in Sub-Division Taklech and Rs. 1.85 crore strengthening of various source of WSS in Nankhari.
Foundation stones
The Chief Minister laid foundation stones of up-gradation of Ganvi Fancha road to cost Rs. 9.45 crore, up-gradation of Rattanpur Shah Guri Basara to Chadali road to cost Rs. 7.77 crore, up-gradation of Jhakari-Khadakag-Makrola Gaura road to cost Rs.8.04 crore and Sanei to Shandal road to cost Rs.2.96 crore.
He also laid foundation stone of Rs. 18.50 crore augmentation of WSS to newly created wards No. 6 and 7 of Municipal council Rampur, foundation stone of GWSS for Mahatma Gandhi Government Engineering College, Kotla (Jeori) to cost Rs. 7.46 crore, Lift Irrigation Scheme (LIS) from Machhada khud to Nirath to be completed with a cost of, Rs. 13.94 crore and GWSS from Ropani khud to group of villages in Gram Panchayat Koot in Rampur to cost Rs. 90 lakh.
He also performed foundation stone laying ceremony of remodeling/rejuvenation of Flow Irrigation Scheme (FIS) Kumsu in Gram Panchayat Bhadawali to cost Rs. 7.52 crore, improvement of FIS Faula Laddidhar in Gram Panchayat Kaleda Majheothi in Nankhari to cost Rs. 74 lakh, FIS Planoo to Shaloon in Gram Panchayat Devnagar to cost Rs. 2.56 crore and constructing of retaining/breast wall to protect Rampur town to cost Rs. 2.24 crore.
