The grand finale of the Diamond Jubilee Jamboree of the Bharat Scouts and Guides, held from January 28th to February 2nd, 2025, in Trichy, Tamil Nadu, marked a historic closure to a week of celebration, learning, and achievement.
Dr. K.K. Khandelwal, IAS (R), Chief National Commissioner, addressed a gathering of 16,000 Scouts and Guides from 27 states and union territories, all zones of Railways, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Navodaya Vidyalaya Sangathan, and international participants from Australia, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, and Nepal.
Incorporating approximately one thousand Scouts and Guides, alongside 120 Scout Leaders from Haryana, this Jamboree highlighted their vibrant participation across a spectrum of activities. The contingent from Haryana enthusiastically engaged in cultural and adventure activities, camp craft, pioneering projects, and a fun-filled food plaza. They also showcased their talents in exhibitions, folk dances, campfires, Rangoli, and an integration rally. Their performances, particularly the folk dances of Haryana, were met with joyful and enthusiastic reception from the audience, contributing significantly to the cultural richness of the Jamboree.
