The Indian-flagged vessel Jag Vasant has safely arrived at a port in Gujarat after being stranded for several days due to tensions in West Asia and disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz.

The ship was among 22 Indian vessels affected by the situation, as Iran partially disrupted movement through the strategic route, impacting global oil and gas supplies. Another Indian vessel, Pine Gas, also successfully crossed the Strait of Hormuz.

According to ship tracking data, both Jag Vasant and Pine Gas were sighted earlier this week between Iran’s Larak and Qeshm islands.

The two ships are carrying a combined cargo of 92,612 metric tons of LPG. There are 33 Indian crew members on board Jag Vasant and 27 on Pine Gas, all reported safe.

Earlier, Indian vessels Shivalik and Nanda Devi had also reached the country, transporting nearly 92,000 metric tons of LPG.
