The Center for Distance and Online Education at Kurukshetra University has been honoured with the Competition Success Review (CSR) Award 2024. Professor Manjula Chaudhary, Director of the Center, accepted the CSR Top University of India for Excellence 2024 Award at a ceremony held in Delhi on April 21, 2024.
On this remarkable achievement, University Vice Chancellor Prof. Som Nath Sachdeva congratulated Centre Director, Prof. Manjula Chaudhary and added that all the courses of KU's Distance and Online Education Center are of high standard. The surge in student enrolment, particularly due to online courses, reflects the growing appeal of the center. Registrar Prof. Sanjeev Sharma also extended his congratulations, attributing this award to the relentless dedication and efforts of the faculty under the guidance of Vice Chancellor Prof. Somnath.
Prof. Manjula Chaudhary said that the center is dedicated to delivering high-quality and innovative education through distance and online platforms, both within the country and internationally. All courses offered by the center are meticulously structured in accordance with the guidelines laid down by both the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). She informed that last week ‘The Knowledge Review magazine’ included Kurukshetra University's Distance and Online Education Center in its annual list of top distance education institutions in India. The university's Distance and Online Education Center is an institution that provides excellent education in the distance education landscape of India.
