Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal is adopting a strict stance regarding cleanliness in the cities as part of the cleanliness campaign in the state. In view of this, due to negligence in the instructions to collect garbage from the city, the Secretary of Ladwa Municipality, who also has the additional charge of Nissing Municipality, has been suspended with immediate effect.
In this regard, orders have been issued by Shri Vikas Gupta, Commissioner and Secretary of the Urban Local Bodies Department.
During the meeting with District Deputy Commissioners, District Municipal Commissioners and senior officials last day, the Chief Minister had given instructions to strengthen the cleanliness system in the cities. Along with this, strict instructions were also given that heaps of garbage should not be seen in the cities, action will be taken against the concerned officers and employees in case of negligence in work.
Manohar Lal has given strict instructions that heaps of garbage should not be seen in the cities. Proper procedure should be adopted for collecting garbage from every house and sending it to the designated dumping ground. In future also, surprise inspections will be conducted by various teams in the cities and in case of negligence in work, action will be taken as per rules.
